Lead is used in a variety of ways, to add style, character and authenticity to your new windows and doors. As you will see from our designs below there are many different designs to choose from.
Regardless of which design you choose our lead is blackened at factory prior to fitting your new windows and doors to give the lead that darkened, aged look. This techique gives great authenticity to your installation over the standard silver lead used by most, if not all of our competitors. This method also ensures that the lead on the inside of your property remains the same colour as the lead on the out side, which is prone to aging following months then years of weathering. Soldered joints are also an optional extra giving you that real antique look.
Lead is available in 4mm, 6mm, 9mm and the traditional 12mm widths. We can help you to select which would suit your property best. |
